Changing the runtime start page

Hello everyone,

I may have accidentally set the wrong start page in my QuickHMI project. When starting the runtime, a different page is displayed than intended.

Where can I configure which page should be opened first when the runtime starts?

gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Fehlermeldung zu unterbinden? Es kann durchaus sein das ein Gerät mal keine Daten sendet weil es aus ist. Ist es dann möglich nicht anzuzeigen?

S7 Symbolic Legacy Issue

Hi, I am having trouble with connecting to an S7-1200 PLC via legacy symbolic. Via a quickhmi project it has successfully connected and run one time, but mostly i get timeouts. The S7 tag checker connects, reads and writes perfectly, and importing tags from the PLC works perfectly too. Why am I having trouble with this connection in the quickhmi runtime? I have no password configured which works in the tag checker.

Hi, I have a Delta PLC from which I need to read about 1000 16-bit registers. I'm connected to the PLC via Modbus TCP/IP, but the program I'm using has a limitation on the number of registers that can be read at once. Because of this, I had to define a new data source for every 100 registers. I tried to increase the number of registers read per data source through the data source settings, but it doesn't allow me to set it to more than 123. Additionally, some of the registers I need to read are not contiguous in memory; there might be gaps of 200 or 300 addresses between them. However, each data source can only read 123 consecutive registers. My program is not yet complete, and the number of registers that need to be read is still increasing, forcing me to define even more data sources.

What can I do to read the required registers with one data source or at least with fewer data sources?

Hallo zusammen

Ich habe aktuell folgendes Problem:

Plötzlich wird bei jeder Systemvariable in meiner Visualisierung nur noch
('BAD_DATA_UNCERTAIN')
angezeigt.

Erstelle ich hingegen ein komplett neues Projekt, funktioniert alles normal und die Variablen werden korrekt angezeigt.

Mein Visualisierungsprojekt verwendet MariaDB als Datenbank sowie einen Webservice. Selbst wenn ich diese Verbindungen entferne, bleibt der Fehler bestehen und es wird weiterhin ('BAD_DATA_UNCERTAIN') angezeigt.

Das Meldungsfenster in der Visualisierung zeigt dabei keinerlei Einträge oder Fehlerhinweise an – es sieht alles „in Ordnung“ aus.

Falls ihr dazu Ansätze habt, wo ich suchen könnte oder welche Logs ich euch liefern soll, gebt bitte Bescheid.

I am currently facing the following problem:

Suddenly, all system variables in my visualization only show
('BAD_DATA_UNCERTAIN').

However, if I create a completely new project, everything works fine and the variables are displayed correctly.

My visualization project uses MariaDB as a database and a web service. Even if I remove these connections, the issue persists and still shows ('BAD_DATA_UNCERTAIN').

The message window in the visualization does not display any entries or error messages – it looks as if everything is “okay”.

If you have any suggestions where I could start looking or which logs I should provide, please let me know.

Update for QuickHMI Runtime Manager on Linux (EC2 Server)

Hello,

I recently upgraded my QuickHMI Editor to version 12.6.1. My project opens and saves without any issues, and when exported, it runs perfectly with the Windows Runtime Manager after an automatic update.

However, I'm encountering an issue with our production environment, which is hosted on an EC2 Linux server. After importing the project using the Linux Runtime Manager (version 12.5.2), the runtime manager detects that an update is needed (to version 12.6.1). It attempts the update but fails to find an update file, so the runtime remains on version 12.5.2.

Although the project appears to load using the older runtime manager version, the data sources fail to connect.

The data sources are 1 x API connection and 1 x MQTT connection.

Here's the output from SSH for reference:
