Hello Support Team,
I'm experiencing an issue when configuring AWS IoT Core certificate authentication in QuickHMI Editor for testing my MQTT data in AWS IoT core. I have generated the following three files from AWS for authentication:
• AmazonRootCA1.pem
• XXXX-certificate.pem.crt
• XXXX-private.pem.key
In the project settings - data sources - MQTT, I attempt to browse for the Server CA certificate, the open file dialog is restricted to files with the *.crt and *.cert extensions, which prevents me from selecting the AmazonRootCA1.pem file. This is stopping me from properly uploading the Server CA certificate required for AWS IoT Core authentication. Please advise if I am doing something wrong or how I can work around this.
Also, AWS does not require or generate a client key passcode, can I just leave this blank?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best Regards
Mark F.
Can anyone help with this?
Hello m.fairhall,
with the next update, we will add an additional file filter for all file extensions.
Thank you, Matthias, I look forward to the next update soon
